サマルトリア王子来訪

「ドラゴンクエスト9 星空の守り人」プレイ記です。

さてさて，リッカの宿屋に順次ご滞在される有名なお客様。この度いらっしゃったのは，「ドラゴンクエストII 悪霊の神々」からサマルトリアの王子様です。

ドラクエII，個人的に気に入っている作品で，FC版とSFC版をプレイしています。特にFC版プレイ時は時間があったこともあり，何度も繰り返して遊んだ記憶があります。ラストダンジョンの幻現象を利用して「隼の剣」に「破壊の剣」の攻撃力を付加したり，「天露の糸」と「聖なる織機」を二つ入手して「水の羽衣」を二つ作ってもらったりしませんでしたか？w　この頃はまだバグ技とかが健在で，それを見つける楽しみもあったし，「ファミマガ」や「マル勝」とかの雑誌にそういった記事がよく載っていて，本屋に行くたびそこだけ立ち読みしたりしたもんです（ぉぃ

あ，バグ技といえば，今作ドラクエ９でも，ロクサーヌのお店に於いて道具を購入する際，「誰が持ちますか？」と訪ねられた時に『Ｘ・Ａ・Ｂ』３つのボタンを同時押しすると，購入金額はそのままに，アイテムが３倍買えるってご存じでしたか^^?


話は戻って，サマルトリア王子について。
ドラクエ２は，確か私にとって初めてプレイするパーティ制ＲＰＧでした。プレイ前から「仲間が出来る」との情報は件の雑誌等から得ていたのですが，まぁこの過程の面倒臭さも手伝ってか，最初に仲間を得た時はいたく感動したものです。この時のファンファーレは，今も耳に焼き付いて離れません。
こうして最初に仲間になる「サマルトリアの王子様」。「ホイミ」が使えるようになっただけで，随分戦闘が楽になった記憶があります。
彼は，剣も呪文も使える器用な人物だったのですが，逆に言えばこれといった特徴のない難点もあり，この後「ムーンブルクの王女」が仲間になると彼の地位は微妙なものになって，何度目かのプレイでは「彼が居なくてもラスボス倒せるんじゃ？」などという好奇心が胸を支配するようになりましてw
物語の後半，彼が病気になってベラヌールの宿屋に臥せる場面がありますよね。本来ならこの時，世界樹の葉を使って治してあげるところ，これをせずに主人公とムーンブルクの王女２人だけでラストダンジョンに挑んでみたり。
結果どうだったのかはよく覚えていませんが，やっぱり苦労したような気はしています。そんなことで，彼の存在価値を再確認したものですw


さて。いつものように，装備拝領。

この時のセリフもまた，いいとこのおぼっちゃんっぽくてgoodです。王子様だから当たり前ですがw　っていうか，主人公の方が王子様っぽくなかったですよね（笑

うちのお嬢さんに装備させてみます。

予想通りというか，似合いませんw
それにしても，すごいヘアスタイルだったんですね～。思わず後ろからも眺めてみたり。
