書店で遭遇。
この辺で，ちょっと「VOCALOID」の情報でも仕入れておこうかな…と，自分に言い訳しながら購入した「DTMマガジン」2010年1月号です（笑

今号の目玉は，「初音ミク Append」の体験版かと思います。クリプトン社で開発中の，初音ミクの歌声データベース５種類中，「soft」と「dark」の二つを収録。
もちろん今の私に使いこなせるものではありませんので，本記事を読みながらニコ動を検索，アップされている歌を聴いて参りました。

文字通り，柔らかく優しげな声色の「soft」と，ちょっと落ち着いて大人びた「dark」。「感情を獲得した」と言われますが，本当に表現の幅に広がりを見せており，驚かされました！　個人的にバラード調の歌が好きなので，そういう歌ばかりを選んで聴いてみたところはありますが，この二つはどちらも素晴らしく曲に合っていてとっても自然。ミクらしさをしっかり残しながらもオリジナルにあった雑味，というかノイズっぽい部分も随分解消されている印象を受け，その完成度の高さは本当に眼を見張るものがありました。

現在のところ，「初音ミクAppend」の発売時期は３月上旬を予定として調整中とのこと。「メグッポイド」を買おうかどうしようか迷っていた矢先に，この告知。もう少し待ってみようか，という気に十分させられる内容でした。


そして，本誌を買ってから気づいたのですが，なんとあのdorikoさんが，本誌に寄稿されておられるではありませんか！　買って良かった～!!!
「ロミオとシンデレラ」を題材に，VOCALOIDを用いての曲の作り方を書かれています。うあぁ…参考にさせていただきますとも
