「EF70-200mm F2.8L IS II USM」。銘レンズ「EF70-200mm F2.8L IS USM」が2001年9月に発売されて以降，９年振りとなる後継レンズの登場です。非常に食指を動かされます^^+

室内の舞台撮影やポートレート撮影などのため，明るい中望遠レンズはとても有用で，個人的に「EF70-200mm F2.8L IS USM」を使用しています。といっても，最近は室内撮影の機会はほとんどなく，室内といえばこのブログにアップするためのマクロ撮影が殆どとなっており，「EF70-200mm F2.8L IS USM」の出番は少なくなっている今日この頃。
新しいレンズは３月上旬発売予定とのことですが…。

光学系もいろいろと改良が施されているようで，解像度も上がっているようです。手ブレ補正機構の能力も向上し，シャッター速度換算約4段分。光量の足りない場所での撮影で，強い味方となってくれそうです。

希望小売価格が３０万円（税別）ということで，実売は３０万円を少し切るくらいでしょうか。レンズは，カメラ本体と違って値崩れしにくいので，先行投資してしまってもいいのですが，今のところコレを必要とする被写体が思いつかない。とすれば，当分は現行モデルで充分かなぁ…。う～ん，悩む悩む…。

買い物って，悩んでいる時が一番楽しいですね（笑

他のレンズのリメイクはまだかな??　特に50mmマクロはまだかなと思います。
30万円かぁ・・。軽いEF70-200mmF4L IS USMで自分は十分ですね。

canon純正の50mmマクロ，私はその存在さえ知りませんでした。canonの純正マクロは全体的に焦点距離が長いなぁ，とは思っていたのですが，ちゃんと標準域もあったんですね。
これも設計が古そうですし，リニューアルされても良さそうですね。

50mmといえば，単焦点レンズ沼に脚を引きずり込まれるきっかけとなった「EF50mm F1.4 USM」なんかも，古い設計ながら機能面では気に入っているレンズであり，レンズのリニューアルに際してはそうしたレンズの持ち味を残しつつ性能アップをして欲しい，なんて我が儘な希望を抱いてしまいます^^;
「EF135mm F2L USM」なんか，趣味性が高くてリニューアル対象にはならないでしょうが，ああいう商品のよいところは失って欲しくない，と切に願う次第です。

「EF70-200mmF4L IS USM」は，使ったことさえありませんが，その描写性能は高いと聞いており，これが発表された当時は羨ましくて仕方なかったものですw

レンズの話は好きですが，周囲に語れる人が居なくて（笑
