涼宮ハルヒシリーズをお好きな方ならお馴染み，長門さん大活躍のエピソード「射手座の日」。これにおいて，ハルヒ率いるSOS団がコンピ研と繰り広げるゲーム，「THE DAY OF SAGITTARIUS III」がiPhone＆iPod用のアプリとして登場しました。「iTunes Store」で230円。お手頃です。

チープな起動画面とBGM。コンピ研らしき雰囲気が，いきなりniceです。私はハルヒは原作派でして，実はアニメはさっぱり見ていませんw　ですが，この雰囲気はそれっぽくていいですね。
メニューには「Start」と「Tutorial」とあります。ルールも知らずに始めるのは自殺行為なので，取り敢えず「Tutorial」を選択します。

まさかの英語の解説画面。コンピ研の頑張り加減を忠実に再現でしょうか。

最初の画面は，どうやらメイン画面の解説のようです。自機や敵機が三角形で表現されているあたり，その忠実加減に感動すら憶えます。どうやら自軍は５隊編成である模様。ライフゲージが設定されている以上，それが空になると撃沈されるのでしょう。iPhoneの狭い画面で完結するよう，情報は簡潔かつ必要最小限です。

次画面は，自機等に関する解説です。赤いのが自軍，青いのが敵軍。

フォーメーションは全部で５種類。「Nomal formation」「Offensive formation」「High speed formation」「General attack formation」「Defensive formation」です。
このうち，解りにくいのは「Offensive」と「General attack」でしょうか。「攻撃型陣形」と「総攻撃陣形」？　攻撃力が上がる一方で，防御力が下がったりするのでしょうか。ハルヒちゃんは「General attack」しか選択しなそうですねw
「Defensive」は防御型である一方，移動力・攻撃力に難がありそうです。この辺，パラメータとして設定されていた原作と異なり，陣形で変化を出した辺りに，本ゲームの戦略性がありそうですが…？

第３画面は，操作法。１～５の艦隊をタッチして陣形と移動先を決め，ゲームを進行するようです。


第４画面は勝敗条件。勝利条件は３種類で，ミッションによって異なる模様です。全機撃墜，ターゲット撃沈，旗艦逃げ切り。

敗北条件は２種類。旗艦撃沈かタイムオーバー。とても解り易いです。


さて，チュートリアルを終えたところでゲームスタート！
最初のミッションはＡタイプ。全機撃墜が勝利条件です。
画面タッチですべての操作が可能なのはよいですが，ズームを最小の50%にしても全マップ表示はできません。原作のような索敵モードこそ無いものの，艦隊をタッチして行き先を決めるに当たり，マップ画面をスクロールするのは結構負担でした。スクロール中に移動艦隊の指定がキャンセルされたりしますし。
結局，画面の範囲内で艦隊をこまごまと動かした方が効率的であるとの結論に達し，敵軍目掛けて前進してみました。
すべての行為はリアルタイムで進みます。長門さんに憧れる私としては，自軍５艦隊くらい自由自在に操って敵を翻弄したいもの。しかしながら，リアルタイムで５艦隊を操作するというのは意外に忙しいものでした。なんか違うところをタッチしてコマンドがキャンセルされるし，あまつさえ戦闘中とは違う宙域に視界が飛ぶし。
そんなこんなで，最初の５回くらいは散々な結果でした。が，途中ポーズをしながら陣形・移動先を指定し直すことが可能な事に気付き，これを活用。前述の通り操作性は良好とは言い難いので，このポーズ画面の使いこなしが次第に重要となっていくことでしょう。

さて。RPGでも何でもそうですが，私の戦略は「攻撃こそ最大の防御」です。全艦隊の陣形を「Offensive formation」に設定，敵軍に向けて前進。本ゲームに「攻撃」というコマンドはなく，艦隊同士が近づくと勝手に戦闘を始めます。と言ってもドットを打ち合うだけなのですがw

美しくない総力戦。消耗戦ですw　ヤン・ウェンリーが見たら嘆くことでしょう。
「Level01」「Level02」あたりは，こうした力技でも突破可能です。しかしながら，「Level03」で躓きました。敵旗艦を潰す前に，自軍旗艦が持たない…。「Defensive formation」はやはり足が遅く，敵艦に追い付かれてしまうのです。かといって敵旗艦を攻撃しつつ，自軍旗艦を「High speed formation」で逃がすような高等芸能は，今の私には不可能です。
難しい…。この週末，時間を見付けては本ゲームをプレイしていますが，未だにこの「Level03」が突破できません（泣


と，こんな感じの，リアルタイム戦略型ウォーシミュレーションゲームです。ハルヒシリーズから出たゲームですが，各キャラがゲーム中に登場することは一切ありません。もちろん今後ゲームが進めば，クリア画面あたりで出るのかも知れませんがw　現在のところハルヒっぽいのは，アプリ選択画面に出てくるハルヒの横顔のアイコンくらいです。

プレイ時間は，制限が設けられていることもあって３分～５分。気軽に遊べていい感じです。自軍のライフゲージもサクサク減って（笑），やられている感抜群。逆に敵のライフゲージを確認することはできないので，「肉を切らせて骨を断つ」ような戦法は取りにくい…あ，こんなこと考えている時点で，このゲームは攻略出来ませんねw

このような，ある意味硬派なゲームですが，ハルヒ好きでないとプレイしないであろう事を鑑みると，「微妙な内容だなぁ」との感慨を禁じ得ないのでした（笑
ゲームの内容としては嫌いじゃないので，隙を見て攻略を続けたいと思います。


…と書き終わったあとで，日本語チュートリアルのHPがあることに気づきました（笑
プレイ中の動画もあるし，これは解りやすい。艦の動かし方など，とても勉強になります＾＾

知らずにスクロールしてしまうところでした。
SOS団がカットインしてくれたらな～。
でもこのスタイルこそが忠実再現ってことなのでしょうね。
