先日，たまたま本屋で見かけて，手に取った本作。
「破」を観に劇場に行った折，これの劇場版予告編が放映されており，とても興味があったので，読んでみたものです。

予告編の映像から受けていた印象は，もっと「戦後間もない日本」然としたものでしたが，読んでみてちょっとびっくり。これまた発達したネット社会絡みの物語だったんですねぇ。

憧れの先輩「篠原夏希」のフィアンセ役を頼まれた気弱な主人公「小磯健二」は，ひょんなことからネット社会「oz」のパンドラの箱を開けてしまったと思い込み，夏希の曾祖母「陣内栄」の９０歳の誕生日に集った大家族の支援を受けつつ「oz」及び「oz」と直結した現実社会を食い荒らす「驚異」に立ち向かう，というストーリー。


とりあえず，コミック第一巻の印象としては，
栄ばあちゃん，かっこよすぎw
危機に直面して動じず，黒電話一つで世の中を突き動かすそのカリスマ性に，とても魅せられました。こういう人に，日本のトップに立ってもらいたいなぁ

コミック版は，いいところで「次巻に続く」となってしまっておりますが，今更ながらに「劇場で観ればよかった」と思っています。
本作品，劇場動員が100万人を突破したそうですね。これを記念し，９月20日（日）に新宿バルト９とシネマサンシャイン池袋にて，小磯健二の声を充てている神木隆之介さんと，細田守監督による舞台挨拶が行われる模様。
また，９月１９日（土）からは，劇場入場者プレゼント第３弾として青山浩行作画監督によるポストカードが６万枚限定で配布されるとのこと。
もう劇場も空いてきている頃でしょうし，今からでも観に行こうかなぁ
